I’m all about adventures, playfulness, my family, and taking photos of people madly in love especially at weddings. 

After photographing weddings for years, I have honed my skills around my cameras and wrangling drunk guests for family photos. One of the biggest realizations I’ve stumbled on though is that wedding days are more than just the epic, magazine-worthy shots where I take you on a gorgeous landscape with golden sunlight kissing your skin. I still love taking my couples there, but I’ve learned people are really drawn to the in between moments. I also realized that dropping my expectation of taking that “hero“ shot for all my couples is much less important than allowing my couples to be with the people that matter most and the hero shot will happen naturally. I learned to pay attention to the craziness, emotion, and authentic connection while those moments happen because they’re so easily missed. These are photos you never knew you wanted until you see them, but I still adore a good sunset session (:

My role is to tell your story as it happens like a fly on the wall. I dislike being one of those photographers that jumps in the middle of a special moment or conversation to get a photo, when I can simply pay attention and wait for the real moment to happen. I don’t want you to feel like I’m just someone you have to hire. I’d rather be the chill dude you can have a beer with.

I like to tell my couples I wear many hats on a wedding day. Not only am I your photographer, but also your coordinator, expert, companion, and therapist. Cause we all know wedding planning ain’t easy, and I think that this relationship between us will just make your planning process so much easier. From the moment you book me, I’m yours if you need help planning your timeline, advice on seating charts, what to wear, or even just need a third party opinion on what color napkins you want. I will be here for you.

To give you the TLDR: I don’t care about the venue you choose, I don’t care how many guests are coming, I don’t care about how much you spent on your flowers and shoes. I want to know who you are as a couple, listen to how you fell in love, and let that shine through as naturally as we can. Lets not make it awkward, cause I know most people hate being in front of a camera. So with a bit of my gentle direction when needed, playfulness, and a sense of safety around me, your true selves will show.

Guitar riffing - I’ve played countless shows with my best friends in a metalcore band!

PC Gaming - I’ve been really digging RPGs like Diablo 4 and Elden Ring and generally love building computers!

Grilling steaks - Medium-rare.

Riding my Motorcycle - Only been riding since 2021. Got my Suzuki SV650 before getting trained and license haha. Always love cruising aimlessly

Campfires - Nothing better than kicking back with friends and family in the cool spring night breeze by the comfort of a fire pit.

Powerlifting - Love lifting heavy things in the gym recreationally because I hate making multiple trips to bring the groceries in the house.

Dry red wine with fancy cheeses. Pinot Noir is my go to.

My wife’s professional cookie taster. Her classic chocolate chip cookie is a showstopper.

Road trips with the windows down, music blasting and singing terribly.
